ź Ukrainian Railways is a na onal carrier of freight and passengers-railway
transport, crea ng condi ons to increase the compe veness of the industry. The
company is the legal successor of all rights and obliga ons of the State
Administra on of Railway Transport of Ukraine, as well as subordinate enterprises
and ins tu ons that had the status of individual legal en es.

ź The Company's development strategy is aimed at achieving the following main
goals: mee ng Ukraine's needs in railway transporta on and logis cs in
accordance with the country's economic development plans and popula on
mobility; achieving and maintaining a strong financial posi on of the Company,
including by intensifying the necessary investments in the main ac vi es of UZ;
ensuring the safety of railway transport for customers, employees and third
par es;

ź Na onal leader in the quasi-monopolis c structure of rail transport and logis cs
market, which provides 65% of freight and 35% of passenger traffic;

ź The structure of the Company has a large block of ins tu ons that provide services
that are part of the social package of employees and provide benefits to the
Company among employers. It includes: health care facili es, professional
development center, boarding houses, sanatoriums, prophylac cs, children's
health camps, children's railways, sports clubs, recrea onal facili es, housing and
other socio-cultural facili es.
